Bringing 70s Vibes with Flare

With summertime in full swing, trends are at the peak of fun and flirty. A motif I am seeing a lot of lately are ruffles and flare details.

Anyone who knows me well can attest to the fact that I love flare. My bell bottoms are my favorite yearlong piece, and bell sleeves give me life. With that being said, for this look, I decided to go full seventies vibes. Here I am wearing a pair of dark-wash flare jeans from Bebe. These were such a good find – not only is the denim deliciously stretchy, but the fit is very flattering. The darker wash also means they go with practically anything and will stick with you from season to season.

I found this pink, flowy Romeo & Juliet Couture top at T.J.Maxx. A loose, lightweight top like this is a no-brainer for summer, especially with the scorching heat I’m experiencing in Miami right now. The top also has a sweet little keyhole detail in the back, which I love.

I finished up the look with a pair of brown block heels by Madden Girl and a matching wristlet by INC International Concepts with a fringe zipper detail. Put it all together and not only are you looking comfortable and chic for a summer outing, but you’re giving major Jackie Burkhart vibes.
